excellent design and construction. there is even a slight indent for finger grip and the lip on the edge ends those nasty dribbles that run down the side of the cup. Brilliant work of art.

If you grew up in New York, you know exactly what these cups mean. Every morning, rolling up to the coffee truck before school or work, grabbing that blue and white cup with “We Are Happy To Serve You” — that wasn’t just coffee, that was New York. That WAS home.
Now living in Los Angeles, I didn’t realize how much I missed that feeling until these showed up at my door. The ceramic edition is beautifully done — the weight, the design, the colors are all spot on. Every time I pour my morning coffee into one of these, I’m back on a Bronx street corner, steam rising, city waking up around me. That kind of nostalgia is priceless.
The craftsmanship is excellent and they look incredible on display too. Would make an absolutely perfect gift for any New Yorker living away from home — trust me, they WILL tear up a little.
One small note: the outside of the cup does get quite hot and heat retention could be a bit better, so just grab a sleeve or a napkin like the old days. A small price to pay for a piece of New York history sitting right in your hands.

The blue is a bit lighter than expected, and lids should be included.
